Welcome to Promas Online. Our courses are designed to help unpaid carers to thrive in their roles.
If you would like some guidance on how to use this site, this page is for you.
STEP 1: REGISTER / LOGIN
In order to access any of our courses, including our free courses, you will need to register on our website. This is because our courses are carefully designed to show you how much progress you’ve made, which courses you have completed, so we need to have you logged in under your own unique username. The best username to choose is your email address, and when you login, you have the option to set your own password.
We’re very careful with your data, and will only use it to ask you for any feedback so that we can keep making improvements.
STEP 2: TRY OUR FREE COURSES
Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be able to access all our free courses. These are a mixture of videos, quizzes, questions to answer and downloadable worksheets that will help you to learn more about ways to cope with the challenges that unpaid carers face, and to introduce techniques and practical changes that will really help to improve your day to day life.
STEP 3: TRY OUR PAID FOR COURSES
There are two ways to access our paid courses. You can click on the link at the top right-hand side on any of the paid for courses pages and pay a one-off fee of £45 and you will then be able to access all of our courses for one year. We’re constantly updating our courses and adding new resources to the site.
Alternatively, you may be able to access all our courses for free if your local authority offers the service to carers in your region.
Click here to see if your local council offers this and to find the contact details to request access to our courses.
STEP 4: DISCOVER WAYS TO REALLY THRIVE IN YOUR CARING ROLE
Once you have access to our courses, you can discover plenty of new ways to really care for yourself, cope with particular challenges and how to manage stress. If you have any questions about how to use the courses, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll be here to help.
